My daughter Nina has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Lydia for four years. My son Isaac also started lessons a year ago. Ms. Lydia is not only talented but also incredibly patient and intuitive with young children – qualities that have helped my children enjoy music as they learn. It has been wonderful to see their continued progress as they spend more time with Ms. Lydia.

Our son has taken piano from Lydia Culpepper for four years. She has encouraged him to try challenging pieces and to grow as a pianist. She gives her students many opportunities to perform and learn.I would recommend her studio to anyone looking for a teacher for their children.

Our daughter has had a wonderful experience taking piano lessons at Culpepper Studios. She has progressed rapidly and gained an enormous amount of confidence playing in front of others. Ms. Lydia is kind and patient, making lessons stress-free and lots of fun!

5 years ago, after inheriting their great- grandfather's piano we searched for a piano instructor so that our girls could learn to play it. We received several referral to Ms Lydia from different sources. We have been very happy with our daughters' progress and enjoyment of music and music theory that they received with Lydia. Over the years, Lydia has continued to grow her own knowledge of best practices to teach children piano and our girls' have benefited tremendously- not just with technique and music theory, but with discipline and strategy that has helped with their academics as well.

I found Lydia online while looking for a piano teacher for my son. I saw her very graceful performance on her website and I wanted that kind of grace and elegance to rub off on my son too. I’m happy with his progress and I have Lydia to thank for that. He actually enjoys his lessons and can’t wait for his Piano lessons every week.

My daughter, Viviana, has been taking lessons with Ms. Lydia over a year. She's made tremendous progress in playing songs, techniques, timing & rhythm, as well as music theory - exceeding our expectation. Ms. Lydia understands child psychology; she is very patient with young students. Ms. Lydia's method of teaching is creative and fun for kids which helps young students learn and remember the materials better. My daughter is always looking forwards for the lesson with Ms. Lydia every week. Ms. Lydia also encourages students to try hard to maximize their potential and at the same ensuring the gratification from learning and playing.
